OUR STORY
Founded by Abolade Oyewole, Blizzcouture is a UK-based African fashion brand created to bring the beauty, elegance, and cultural richness of Afrocentric fashion to people everywhere. Originally from Osun State and now based in Harrow, Abolade turned her passion for African fashion into a growing brand that celebrates identity, confidence, and style.
Blizzcouture began its journey in 2024 and officially launched on February 1st, 2025 with a vision to make authentic African fashion more accessible in the UK. Inspired by the uniqueness, pride, and creativity of African wear, the brand was created for people who want to express culture beautifully through what they wear.
At Blizzcouture, we noticed a gap in the market for authentic, stylish, and high-quality African clothing that feels both modern and versatile. Our goal is to create pieces that can be worn confidently for weddings, celebrations, special occasions, and even everyday fashion while still honoring African heritage.
